With a cyclone up north the weather forecast was for rain and thunder and lightning. Thankfully none of these came to pass and it was a hot and humid but otherwise dry day for Sarah and Ben to celebrate their marriage. They chose the gorgeous grounds of Brookleigh Estate in the Swan Valley http://www.brookleigh.com.au/ for their ceremony. Stewarts Restaurant is part of the Brookleigh Estate and a delicious cocktail party was enjoyed by the newlyweds and their family and friends.
The day was pretty hot but Rebecca and Paul breezed through their wedding. A beautiful ceremony was followed by a fun photo shoot and then a glamorous wedding reception at the always beautiful Belvoir in the Swan Valley. http://www.belvoir.net.au/
Leah and Dion chose a relaxed garden wedding to celebrate their marriage. Sandalford Winery http://www.sandalford.com/ was the perfect choice with drinks and nibblies enjoyed in the parkland setting. Their children played a very important part of the day. Leah’s son, Nathan joined her father in walking her down the aisle. Her daughter Jazmin joing Dion’s daughters Laila & Lily as flowergirls.
Jemma and Stuart were so much fun to photograph, as were their bridal party. Once again I was able to use the beautiful grounds of Belvoir in the Swan Valley http://www.belvoir.net.au/ Susan of SD photography http://www.sdphotos.com.au/ again supplied her camera skills as I recover from a broken wrist. And again we all had so much fun and laughter and these images reflect the love Jemma and Stuart share. It is great being the director of photography but I am itching to get back behind the camera – hopefully at the wedding of Bonnie and Justin next week.
Kellie and Geoff shared their special day with family and friends at The Vines Resort & Country Club in the Swan Valley. http://www.vines.com.au/ Despite a less than promising weather forecast it was great to see that the day stay mostly sunny. They were a fun couple and bridal party to photograph and their reception room looked gorgeous bathed in soft purple lights.
Christie and James were married on the banks of the Swan River at the beautiful Caversham House. http://www.cavershamhouse.com.au/ Their photo shoot included a lovely gardens and sunset at the beach. As a surprise the bride arranged for James’ cricket bat to be taken to the grounds of the sports club where their reception was held. A fun photography session resulted in wedding images a little different fom the normal.
Richelle & Steven celebrated their wedding on the beautiful grounds of Belvoir Reception center in the Swan Valley. http://www.belvoir.net.au/ After an emotional ceremony in the Shaw Gazebo they had photographs on the grounds. Belvoir has a rural outlook which Richelle and Steven loved. The reception was also at Belvoir with it’s stunning “Gone With The Wind” ambience and wonderful food.
The Bride and Groom have a fun streak so set up an area and supplied props. Guests were encouraged to make use of these and the result are a great collection of images of their equally fun guests.
It has been my absolute priviledge to be asked to photograph the wedding on my beautiful niece Erin to to very handsome Brett at Belvoir in the Swan Valley http://www.belvoir.net.au/. A wild storm blew through the venue grounds an hour or so before the wedding. And the day was so humid we all thought we were in the tropics. But Erin was calm and collected and looked absolutely amazing. Brett looked pretty fantastic as well. I wish you both a long, happy and loving life together. congratulations to you both.
