Claire & Guttorm celebrated their ceremony and reception at Oakover Winery in the beautiful Swan Valley. http://www.oakoverwines.com.au/ The bride got ready at The Rose & Crown in Guildford http://www.rosecrown.com.au/ It would have been lovely to explore the hidden treasures of this historic hotel. But with time running out I was happy to act as chauffeur and transport the bride and her three bridesmaids to the location where she met up with her beautiful horse and carriage so that she arrived at the ceremony in style. I have to congratulate the girls as, during the photo shoot,  they bravely ventured into the bush via a rough track. The backlit Aussie bush was the perfect fit for their rural wedding.  And I do have to make special mention of the best man, Gjermund. Without doubt one of the best speeches I have witnessed in more than 600 weddings. Humour, a strip, the parents joining in on a singalong and then all the 100 guests serenading the couple – I do believe in Norwegian. I have known Melanie for a number of years now. I am delighted that this gorgeous girl has now got this gorgeous man. They had a simple but lovely wedding at the Perth Registry office. Kellie and Geoff shared their special day with family and friends at The Vines Resort & Country Club in the Swan Valley. http://www.vines.com.au/ Despite a less than promising weather forecast it was great to see that the day stay mostly sunny. I have known Kylie for many years and have photographed her award winning Arabian horses many times.  She is the most gorgeous girl and it was my pleasure to be asked to photograph her wedding to William.  The ceremony and reception were held at Rosehill Country Club in Guildford  http://www.rosehillcountryclub.com With its lovely country feel it was the perfect venue. Lisa and Warren celebrated their wedding a little differently then most. There was no adult bridal party though they did have a gorgeous flowergirl and pageboy.

We did some of the family and couple photography before the ceremony. We started at The University of Western Australia which is a great location with beautiful archways and columns. We then proceeded to Kings Park as Lisa and Warren love the avenues of trees. Then it was onto the Swan Shell at Burswood for the ceremony. Conratulations to Sarah and John. They shared a heartfelt ceremony at the beautiful Araluen botanic gardens. This was followed by a wonderful reception at Roleys on the Ridge. The view over the valley and bushland was just stunning. And Rowleys definitely qualifies as “foodies heaven”.
